Mitch Costley is an electrical engineer specializing in electric power systems. He received his bachelor's degree from Georgia Tech in Atlanta in 2008 and his PhD from Georgia Tech in 2015. He spent several years in the San Francisco Bay Area as an engineering consultant with Exponent. For the last two years, Mitch has been designing electrical power systems for commercial and health care buildings in the Atlanta area with Newcomb & Boyd.
Emily Spears is an elementary school teacher. She received her bachelor's degree from Centre College in 2011. She has taught both domestically and internationally at public, private, parochial, and charter schools, working in Las Vegas, Mexico, Costa Rica, Italy, South Korea, Myanmar, and Tajikistan. Emily moved back to Atlanta in July 2019 and continues to teach students K-5.
Gretta Burns started her career as part time file clerk at Royal-Globe while in school at Georgia State University. She was soon asked to assume full-time job as casualty underwriter-in-training. As Casualty Underwriter, she handled The Coca-Cola Account Casualty needs. Following a vacancy at TCC’s Insurance Dept., accepted a position there. She entered the dept. as Risk Analyst in 1974, advancing to Underwriting Manager, which was her last assignment at retirement. She has negotiated various worldwide insurance coverages such as Umbrella, Excess Liability, Aviation (five airplanes), Crime, Surety Bonds, Etc. Hold Associates Degree in Risk Management, Insurance Institute of America, administered through Georgia State. She served six years as officer with National Association of Insurance Women, International, and was President from 1984-85. As retiree, she is very active in my church and various business boards and civic organizations.
