AMIS Atlanta's Welcome Reception is an annual event that welcomes all international students and scholars in metro Atlanta's colleges and universities through a free community-wide event.  Our name, AMIS, is the French word for "friends" and symbolizes our purpose to promote cultural and global understanding through friendship and hospitality with international students and scholars.  We are excited to offer for the 46th year, a unique opportunity for international students and scholars from all over Atlanta and Georgia to be welcomed by the local community in an outdoor setting, centrally located on Georgia Tech's Midtown Atlanta campus.
