Welcome to Atlanta   -   One of the world's great cities!

Together with your international student advisors, we want to make your stay here in Atlanta as memorable as possible. Thankfully, with the Internet and with telephone access to the far corners of the earth, as international students you are not nearly as isolated from family and friends as you once were. But, we are here to introduce you to the Atlanta beyond your campus - the families and individuals who want to extend a hand of friendship and hospitality to you. We believe that for all of us to have a better understanding and appreciation for each other's cultures, religions and philosophies we need to create personal and lasting friendship.

As an International Student in Atlanta we invite you to:

• Join the Amigo program and have an American family or individual for a friend during your stay in Atlanta.
• Go on a tour of Atlanta with us to learn about the sites in Atlanta.
• Come to a reception in your honor at Atlanta Symphony Hall in the fall each year.
• Join a family for Thanksgiving dinner in November.
• Participate in the Christmas International House program and visit another city and find new American friends during you school break at the Christmas season in December.
• Sign up with our Speaker's Bureau and be a spokesperson for your country by speaking at local schools, civic clubs and churches.
