Amigos are host families and individuals who extend friendship to an international student on a one-to-one basis.   This is a commitment to friendship, not to house the student.  Our organization introduces you to these young people.  

As an Amigo, your commitment is to:

Call or write the student to tell him /her that you are his or her friend in the city.

• Invite your student to your home for a meal.
• Attend a community event together.
• Continue the relationship with visits, calls, emails… in a fashion that supports your joint goal of friendship
